The Cleft and Facial Deformity Foundation (CFDF) has announced a free surgical program in Keffi aimed at providing reconstructive surgery to individuals with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities. The initiative is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for children and adults affected by these conditions.
Beginning may 10th to may 19th, a team of skilled surgeons, anesthesiologists, and medical volunteers will conduct a week-long program at Federal Medical center, Keffi , offering free surgical corrections to eligible patients. This program is expected to bring much-needed medical assistance to the Keffi community and surrounding areas, where access to specialized surgical care is often limited.
CFDF’s founder, Dr Seidu Bello, emphasized the importance of this initiative. “Every individual deserves to feel confident and lead a healthy life, free from the social and medical challenges posed by cleft and facial deformities,” they stated. “Through this program, we aim to not only correct these physical issues but also bring hope and confidence to those in need.”
The foundation has partnered with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and sponsors to ensure a smooth and successful program. The team will offer consultations, surgery, and post-operative care, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support throughout the process.
Registration for the program is now open, and interested individuals are encouraged to contact the foundation’s local office for information on eligibility and appointment scheduling. The CFDF is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community and invites volunteers and donors to support this vital cause.
This program is a testament to the power of community and collaboration in addressing healthcare needs. Through the efforts of CFDF and its partners, many individuals in Keffi will have the opportunity to regain their smiles and lead fuller lives
